Dear Colleagues:
I invite you to take a moment to explore ACP’s year in review. This annual summary demonstrates the many ways we have heard you, collaborated with, and supported you throughout the past year.
While the landscape of health care continues to evolve, and we navigate and address challenges, ACP remains constant in exemplifying our mission, goals, and core values. We are steadfast in our commitment to support your needs and the practice of evidence-based medicine by providing relevant and timely scientific information, and clinical, educational, professional, and personal resources, and by continuing to advocate for policy changes that will make a difference in your daily work and your patients’ health.

This year we were proud to build on our legacy of educational excellence with the debut of ACP MKSAPSM (Medical Knowledge Self-Assessment Program), an all-digital edition of our premier comprehensive learning program. For nearly 60 years, MKSAP has been the most trusted resource in continuous learning for internal medicine physicians, and that tradition continues with ACP MKSAP.
A new feature, ACP MKSAP CORE (Confirmation of Relevant EducationTM ), helps internal medicine physicians demonstrate, verify, and provide evidence of maintenance of education and continuous learning achievement based on a professionally standardized passing threshold.
ACP continues to develop and build upon evidence-based clinical guidelines and recommendations, publish the latest scientific information in our best-in-class medical journals, and provide high-quality educational programs and resources to help you keep current in clinical knowledge. We continue to expand resources and opportunities that help support career growth and professional fulfillment and success. We support the use of science and scientific expertise, based on the best available evidence, and are partnering with others to help infuse trust back into healthcare.
On behalf of ACP governance and staff, please know that we remain inspired by you, our internal medicine community, and by the possibilities ahead. Thank you for all you do each day for our patients and our profession.
I.M. Proud!
